You wake up in Wolfgang Ritter’s bedroom.  Look at the bench at the foot of the bed, and take LIBRARY KEY from the bench.  Use LIBRARY KEY to unlock door on the left, and enter the library. 

 

Look at the bookcase on the left.  Use the Ritter Journals on the bottom shelf twice.  It’s fascinating reading, and when you have more time, you’d like to read some more of the journals. 

 

Look at the wall behind the bookcase, above the candles.  Look at shield on the right wall, and use the shield - the image is jumbled.  Click the tiles to rearrange them, until you see the image of a coat of arms.  When the image is completed, it will look like this. 

 

 

The wall slides open, revealing a hidden room.  Enter the hidden room. 

 

You’ve found the Schattenjager shrine.  Look at the book in the centre, titled “People’s Republic Of Benin”.  Use the book to quickly scan through it.  Another book is mentioned - “The Primal Ones”.  Leave the shrine. 

 

Look at the bookcase on the back wall.  Look at the Occult books on the top shelf of the middle section,  Use the Occult books twice, and read the books on lycanthrope and vampirism. 

 

In the bookcase on the back wall, look at the Sociology books on the top shelf of the right section.  You recognise a title - The Primal Ones.  Use the Sociology books to read through it. 

 

Look at the bookcase on the left.  Look at History books on the top shelf.  You recognise a title - Ancient Roots Of Africa.  Use the book to read through it. 

 

Look at the bookcase on the back wall.  Look at the Religion books on the top shelf of the left section.  You recognise a title - Sun Worshippers.  Use the book to read through it. 

 

Look at the bookcase on the back wall.  Look at the Archaeology books on the bottom shelf of the right section.  You recognise a title - Ancient Digs Of Africa.  Use the book to read through it.  The illustration in this book shows ‘A Wheel Within A Wheel’.  You decide to hang onto the ANCIENT DIGS OF AFRICA BOOK.  That’s enough reading for today!  Leave the library.  

 

Leave the bedroom through door on the right, and head down to the Great Hall. 

 

Show ANCIENT DIGS OF AFRICA BOOK to Gerde.  When she asks about the plane fare, tell her the following.

 

 

        -       Ritter estate can’t pay? 

        -       Credit card.
