Lemmings 1

LEVEL 11:  LEMMINGS IN THE ATTIC

Time: 8 minutes


Leave the first Lemming alone for now.  When the second Lemming is heading left, and he’s past the trapdoor above, turn him into a Blocker.  When the first Lemming reaches the second from left tile on the floor, turn him into a Builder, so he builds a bridge.  Make sure the bridge lands above that bumpy bit in the pillar, otherwise, you’ll have a bit of difficulty getting the bridge all the way to the edge.  Also turn the Builder into a Floater, so he can survive high falls.  






When the bridge is finished, the Builder will turn around and come back.  When he’s roughly above the ‘mark’ at the end of the first tile, have him build another bridge up & right.  






When the bridge reaches the wall at the top right, turn him into a Basher, so he bashes his way through the wall.  At the same time, turn a left-facing Lemming down below, into a Builder, and have him build a bridge up & left, over your Blocker.  






When the Lemmings are on the bridge, turn that single Blocker into a Bomber.  Now sit back, and watch the Lemmings march home.  




LEVEL 12:  BITTER LEMMING

Time: 8 minutes


The Lemmings drop down from the trapdoor nice & slowly, so you have time to act.  The fall is too much for them, and they won’t survive.  As each Lemming falls, turn them into Floaters.  

Now turn one of your Lemmings into a Climber.  Don’t worry, the ridge on the pillar on the left will prevent him from going too far that way, so he’ll have to climb right.  

Your little friend will head right along the platform.  When he reaches the end of the platform, turn him into a Builder, so he builds a bridge - just long enough to reach over that gap.  Now let him float down gently to the platform that contains Home.   







Go back to the Lemmings contained in the hole at the start.  Have them build a series of bridge up & out of the hole, starting at the bottom left corner.






If necessary, place a Blocker on the left column to prevent any Lemmings from escaping that way.  

When all the bridges are in place, the Lemmings will be able escape from the deep hole, head right, and make their way home.  When the Blocker is the only Lemming that remains, turn him into a Bomber.  




LEVEL 13:  LEMMING DROPS

Time: 8 minutes


This is rather tricky.  Turn the first 2 Lemmings into Builders, so they build a bridge over the gap, to the metal pillar.  You need 2 Lemmings for this, because the first Lemming can’t build quickly enough to keep everyone safe.  When they turn around and head left, quickly turn the leading Lemming into a Blocker at the left edge of the platform, so the rest of the Lemmings can’t get past.   






Turn one Lemming into a Climber, so he climbs up the metal post.  As he’s climbing, quickly turn him into a Floater, so he survives the high drop.  When he lands on the metal post below, let him take a step, then turn him into a Blocker.  







Turn another Lemming into a Climber and a Floater.  When he reaches the Blocker down below, he’ll turn around and head left.  Have him build a bridge from the left corner of the metal post, up & left to the metal platform.  He might re-join the rest of the Lemmings, but that’s okay.  Now turn your Blocker into a Bomber.  








If you’re Builder if still here, use him for this next part.  Otherwise, wait for your Climber \ Floater \ Builder to work his way round, and return to this metal post in the lower half of the screen.  As soon as he lands on the metal pillar, turn him into a Builder, and have him build a series of bridges up between the metal posts, like this.  







Let him continue his journey, and fall onto the wooden platform.  At the right edge of the wooden platform, turn him into a Builder again, so he builds a bridge over the gap.  






Go back to the Lemmings contained at the start.  Have them dig a hole straight down through the bridge, onto the bridge below.  They now have safe passage home.  When the Blocker is the only Lemming remaining, turn him into a Bomber.  




LEVEL 14:  MENACING!!

Leave the first Lemming alone for now.  Turn the next 2 Lemmings into Blockers, on either side of the trapdoor above.  






Turn the first Lemming into a Basher, and have him bash through everything.  When he reaches the end of the platform, turn him into a Builder, so he builds a bridge over the gap.  






On the next platform, when you’re under the arm, turn him into a Builder again.  






Now go back to the group of Lemmings at the start.  Turn the Blocker on the right into a Bomber.  When the Lemmings are safely away from danger, turn the final Blocker into a Bomber.  




LEVEL 15:  OZONE FRIENDLY LEMMINGS

Turn the first 4 Lemmings into Bombers.  That’ all you need to do.  






The Lemmings will explode, making a hole in the ground.  And it gets deeper with each new explosion.  Sit back, and watch the remaining Lemmings reach home.  




LEVEL 16:  LUVLY JUBLY

Time: 5 minutes


You don’t have many resources in this level, so you need to be careful.  When the first Lemming reaches the post, turn him into a Miner, so he mines down & left.  Not too much - just a little bit.  Then turn him into a  Basher, so he bashes through into the next section.  






Now this next section is rather tricky to get the timings right.  When a Lemming reaches roughly this point, turn him into a Bomber.  






He’ll explode in the second slope up.  Turn another Lemming into a Bomber at roughly the same point.  






He’ll explode at the same point as the first Lemming, making the hole deeper.  

Turn 3 more Lemmings into Bombers at the same point, until the hole goes all the way through, and the Lemmings can reach home.  




LEVEL 17:  DIET LEMMINGAID

Time: 5 minutes


Again, you don’t have much resources here.  Turn the first Lemming into a Bomber anywhere along the platform.  






The Lemmings will drop down to the lower level.  Now use that block above you as guidance.  When one of them reaches the halfway point of the block, turn him into a Bomber.  






He’ll explode when he reaches the post on the right, allowing free access for the remaining Lemmings.  Sit back, and watch them march home.  




LEVEL 18:  IT’S LEMMINGENTRY WATSON

Time: 8 minutes


When the first Lemming reaches the right edge of the pillars, turn him into a Digger, so he‘ll dig straight down.  Make sure you leave a little bit of pillar on the right still remaining.  This prevents the Lemmings from simply walking off the high ledge, and falling to their deaths.  






Unfortunately, he can’t dig quick enough, so the second Lemmings slips past.  Quickly turn the second Lemming into a Floater.  






When all the Lemmings are contained in the hole, turn one of them into a Bomber.  






This blows up the remnants of the post on the right, thus allowing them to return home.  




LEVEL 19:  POSTCARD FROM LEMMINGLAND

Time: 5 minutes


This is a very hard level.  Turn the first Lemming into a Climber, and a Floater.  Don’t neglect the Floater part, as that will save him at the end.  Wait until the second Lemming reaches the wall, then turn him into a Basher.  






Let the first Lemming fall into the hole.  He’s a Climber, so he’ll climb out of it.  When he reaches the left edge of Home, turn him into a Digger, so he’ll dig straight down.  





Only let him dig down for a couple of bricks, then turn him into a Builder.  He’ll build a bridge back up & right, then turn around and head left.  






Let him walk a couple of steps, then turn him into a Miner, so he digs down & left.  






This creates a passages for the remaining Lemmings to return home.  Phew!  




LEVEL 20:  ONE WAY DIGGING TO FREEDOM

Time: 4 minutes


Turn the first Lemming into a Basher when he reaches here.  






Some Lemmings will turn around and head left.  When the first Lemming reaches the left edge, turn him into a Blocker.  






Now, notice the directional block in their way.  You can only bash from right to left, not the other way around.  So how are you going to get past this?  Turn a right-facing Lemming into a Climber, and also a Floater.  






At the first solid block on the ground, after the directional block, turn your Lemming into a Miner, so he digs down & right.  When  you have a decent hole, turn him into a Builder, so he stops digging, turns around and heads left.  






When he reaches the directional block, turn him into a Basher, so he bashes through the block.  






This allows the rest of the Lemmings to get through.  Turn one of them into a Builder, so he builds a bridge over the hole.  






Now sit back, and watch the Lemmings reach home.  When only the Blocker on the left remains, turn him into a Bomber.
