BATHROOM
The
day gets off to a shocking start! Don appears to be back to his old,
gentle self, and embraces you, kissing you tenderly. You respond to his
kisses, thinking everything is going to be alright… until he gets rough and
rapes you! How could your kind, loving, gentle husband do such a
thing?
DON & ADRIENNE’S BEDROOM
You
get dressed in the bedroom, still in shock over what Don did to you. When
you’re ready, leave the bedroom.
2ND FLOOR
HALLWAY
Enter
the Conservatory on the left.
CONSERVATORY
Go
left to the other side of the room.
Look
at the unfinished painting on the left - the painting has changed again.
Leave the Conservatory.
2ND FLOOR
HALLWAY
Make your way down to the 1st Floor
Hallway.
1ST FLOOR
HALLWAY
Walk
down to the other end of the Hallway.
Enter
Zoltan’s Bedroom on the left.
ZOLTAN’S BEDROOM
Something
is glinting on the dressing table on the left. Look at Zoltan’s painting
on the wall. Walk left, to the end of the bedroom.
Something
is glinting on the dressing table. Look at the dressing table, and pick
up the necklace. You hear voices - Zoltan accusing his wife of having an
affair. When you’re ready, leave the bedroom.
1ST FLOOR
HALLWAY
Climb
down the stairs to the Ground Floor Entrance Hall.
GROUND FLOOR ENTRANCE HALL
Harriet is waiting for you - you agreed yesterday that she would
work for you in exchange for her being allowed to stay in the barn. You
give her a whole list of jobs to do. Talk to her a few times, and ask her
about the building on the eastern side of the island. She doesn‘t know
anything about it, but suggests that Cyrus might know. Give her the TAROT CARDS, and she
agrees to do a reading for you, in the Kitchen. After she leaves, use
your Fortune Teller Booth near the front door to get another fortune - ‘Keep Your Secrets To Yourself.
Trust No-One.’ Walk down & left towards the
harpsichord.
Walk
behind the bar counter, and look at the bottle of absinthe. It’s almost
empty. Has Don been drinking this stuff? Walk left, then enter door
on the left, into the Dining Room.
DINING ROOM
Go
up, into the Kitchen.
KITCHEN
Harriet is washing dishes in the sink on the right. If you
haven’t done so already, give her the TAROT CARDS. She does a reading for
you - sounds like you’ve got trouble ahead. After the reading, she gets
back to work. Walk down, then leave the Kitchen.
DINING ROOM
Notice
the door in the back wall, on the left. Head through that door.
MANSION EXTERIOR
Cyrus
is outside the door. Talk to him (it’s tricky to click on him, and not
click on the nearby sculpture), and ask what he’s doing. He claims to be
playing with the cat - it didn’t look much like playing to me! You tell
him to leave your cat alone. He walks away, sulking. Go through the
nearby door, back into the Dining Room.
DINING ROOM
Immediately
leave the Dining Room again, through the door in the back wall, on the
left.
MANSION EXTERIOR
Cyrus
is back, this time chopping wood. Talk to him to ask about the building
you saw in the woods. He agrees to show you how to get to it.
Follow him right, up, lower left (look at the crypt, while you‘re here), and
right to the tree.
There’s
a big gap in the path. Cyrus can easily jump over the gap, but you’re not
able to do so. Cyrus pushes the tree over, to act like a bridge. Harriet
calls for Cyrus, so he has to go, leaving you to continue by yourself.
Climb onto the tree, and carefully make your way over the tree to the other
side. Now continue right to the next screen.
Pick up LENS from
the ground. Continue right to the Greenhouse.
Enter
the Greenhouse.
GREENHOUSE
Pick up TROWEL from
the ground, on the left. Watch the scene with Zoltan & Hortencia, one
of his wives. You flee the scene in terror.
MANSION EXTERIOR
Look at the telescope on the mountain peak. You can’t see
anything through it. Use LENS with
the telescope. Look at the telescope again, and you see another window
next to the Tower Room. Enter the Greenhouse again.
GREENHOUSE
Walk
right, to the other side of the Greenhouse.
Look
at the large plant pot on the counter on the right. Gruesome! Leave
the Greenhouse.
MANSION EXTERIOR
Head
down, then follow the path left, and continue left, until you hear a car
approaching the mansion.
Go
right, and then go down 2 times. You see a red van in the driveway.
Who could it belong to? Walk up to the front door, and enter the
Mansion.
GROUND FLOOR ENTRANCE HALL
Talk to Mike, the phone installation man. You’re glad to
finally be getting a phone. Climb up the stairs to the 1st Floor
Hallway.
1ST FLOOR
HALLWAY
Walk
up to the other end of the Hallway.
Go up towards the stairs at the top right. As you pass the
Bathroom \ Darkroom, Don grabs you, and demands to know what Harriet is doing
in the mansion. Then he locks himself in the room again. Leave him,
and go through door on the right, up to the 2nd Floor
Hallway.
2ND FLOOR
HALLWAY
Open
door in the back wall, on the right, and head up to the Attic.
ATTIC
Look at the wood panels on the left. Break the wood panels
with your HAMMER,
then climb through, into the Secret Attic Room.
SECRET ATTIC ROOM
Look at the shelf on the left. Look at the portraits at
the back wall. These must be Zoltan’s wives. Open the chest at the
back wall. Read the diary in the chest, look at the locket in the chest,
and take the CAMEO in
the chest. Look at mirror on the right. Leave the room.
ATTIC
Climb
down the stairs to leave the Attic.
2ND FLOOR
HALLWAY
Climb down the stairs in the back wall, down to the 1st Floor
Hallway.
1ST FLOOR
HALLWAY
Make
your way down to the Ground Floor Entrance Hall.
GROUND FLOOR ENTRANCE HALL
Watch
the scene with Don and the phone installation man.
