Lemmings are rather simple creatures. They will walk forward… no matter what! And if that means falling from a great height to their deaths, falling into acid, walking into fire, or splattered by devious traps… so be it. It’s your job to save them, and make sure they get home safely.
The first few levels teach you the basic concepts of the game. For this level - digging. So let’s get started then.
After the game starts, turn one of the Lemmings into a digger (anywhere that’s not under the trapdoor above), and let him dig.
The Lemmings will fall into the hole, and happily make their way home.
LEVEL 2: ONLY FLOATERS CAN SURVIVE THIS

Turn each of the Lemmings into a Floater.
The Lemmings will gently float down, and make their way home.
LEVEL 3: TAILOR MADE FOR BLOCKERS

Place Blockers like so.
A Blockers prevents the Lemmings from travelling any further in that direction - instead, they turn around and walk in the other direction. So you can gradually guide them down to ground level, and safely home. After the majority of your Lemmings are safe, either wait for the time to run out, or use the Nuke button to instantly teleport your little friends to safety.
LEVEL 4: NOW USE MINERS AND CLIMBERS

First, use a Miner here.
The Lemmings will drop down to ground level. When they are facing right, turn them into Climbers.
They will climb up the structure, and head for home.
LEVEL 5: YOU NEED BASHERS THIS TIME

Make the first Lemming a Basher, and bash through both blocks.
The Lemmings will walk through to the mesh area. Use Basher(s) as many times as necessary to bash through all the mesh, allowing a clear path for the Lemmings to head home.
Be aware that one bash is not enough to clear all the mesh - the Lemmings will simply walk up & over.
LEVEL 6: A TASK FOR BLOCKERS AND BOMBERS

It’s necessary to sacrifice some of your Lemmings in order to complete this level. Turn your first Lemming into a Bomber.
He will explode, creating a hole in the pathway, and allowing the other Lemmings to drop down an progress. When one of the Lemmings reaches this point, turn him into a Blocker.
Now turn that same Lemmings into a Bomber, He will explode, creating a gap in the wall, allowing the other Lemmings to return home.
LEVEL 7: BUILDERS WILL HELP YOU HERE

Turn the first Lemming into a Builder when he reaches this point.
He will build a bridge up to the next level.
Now leave the new first Lemming alone, and turn the next 4 Lemmings into Builders. This will create extra space between the first Lemming, and the remaining Lemmings. When the first Lemming reaches the gap, quickly turn him into a Builder.
He builds a bridge over the gap, allowing the rest of the Lemmings to return home.
LEVEL 8: NOT AS COMPLICATED AS IT LOOKS

As the title suggests, this level is really not that hard. Simply place a Blocker here.
The remaining Lemmings will turn around, and walk safely home. When the Blocker is the only Lemming left. Use the Nuke button to instantly teleport him home. Job done!
LEVEL 9: AS LONG AS YOU TRY YOUR BEST

The Lemmings will come out at a fast rate, and head right, towards the pillar. Wait for them to turn around and head left. Now as quickly as you can, turn the first Lemming (or as near as you can) into a Blocker here.
This will prevent them from walking into the spinning blades. Now back at the pillar in the centre of the screen, turn a right-facing Lemming into a Basher, to bash through the pillar, and lead the remaining Lemmings home. When the Blocker is the only Lemming left, use Nuke to teleport him home.
LEVEL 10: SMILE IF YOU LOVE LEMMINGS

The Lemmings will drop down from the trapdoor, and head right. When the first Lemming reaches the right edge of the platform, turn him into a Blocker.
This will make the rest of the Lemmings go left. Quickly make them all into Floaters, so they can survive the huge drop to the ground. They’ll float gently down, and head home. When the Blocker is the only Lemming left, turn him into a Bomber.
