You are Ben, famous
adventurer. Your best friend Dan has been turned into a zombie.
What are you gonna do? You need to find a way to reanimate poor old
Dan.
Open your Inventory, and attach your WHIZZ BANG FIREWORK to
Dan’s zombified body. Now pick up CIGARETTE LIGHTER from
the ground, and use it with Dan, to light the WHIZZ BANG FIREWORK,
sending Dan across the canyon.

LONDON, BEN & DAN’S FLAT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
LOUNGE
It’s the present
day, and you successfully managed to bring Dan back from the dead. But
you have a new crisis to deal with - your TV is broken, and ‘Magnum PI’ is
about to start! You need to fix your TV… fast!
Explore the flat. Take the SAM & MAX POSTER from
the window on the back wall, and notice the alien looking in at you. Look
at the note stuck to the front door on the right. Try to take the note -
you decide to leave it where it is. Go through door on the left, into the
Hall.
HALL
Look at the outline
on the floor. Enter Ben‘s Room.
BEN’S ROOM
Explore the room. Search the bed, then take SCISSORS and GLUE from
the bed. In your Inventory, use SCISSORS with the SAM
& MAX POSTER, to cut it up, and get a MAX HEAD CUT-OUT.
When you’re ready, leave the room.
HALL
Enter Dan’s
Room.
DAN’S ROOM
Explore the room. Open the cupboard, and take COATHANGER from
the cupboard. When you’re ready, leave the room.
HALL
Enter the WC.
WC
Try to use the light switch, but the wiring is damaged. Look at
the WC for some interesting conversation. Use Dan’s Icon (right-click to
cycle through the icons) with the light switch to turn the light off.
Use SCISSORS with the wires above the light switch, to cut
that WIRE. Take the WIRE. Now leave the
room.
HALL
Go back to the
Lounge.
LOUNGE
Try to use the COATHANGER with the TV, in the hope it
will act as a better aerial. But it won’t pick up a good signal from that
position. Use WIRE with the TV, then attach COATHANGER to
the end of the WIRE. Open the window in the back wall, then
use COATHANGER (with WIRE attached) out the
window. After fiddling with your new ‘aerial’ for a while, you finally
get good reception on your TV… right before you are teleported into an Alien
Spaceship!

CORRIDOR
You and Dan find yourselves in the corridor of the spaceship. Walk
left a few steps, and look at the grey door with the Max-shaped lock next to
in. Insert the MAX HEAD CUT-OUT from your Inventory into
the Max-shaped lock next to the door, then enter through the door, into the
Zombie Dimension.

MAX DOOR \ ZOMBIE DIMENSION

FIELD
You’re in a field full of mutilated zombies. Explore the
field. Look at the 2 gravestones. Take DEAD MAN’S
HAND from the ground. Now enter the church.
Watch the cut scene
with the aliens.
CHURCH
Inside the church,
look at both pillars, and click on each of the 6 bible references. Now
walk right until you reach the altar.
Take the BIBLE from the lectern next to the
altar. Examine the BIBLE in your Inventory, and look up
all 6 passages. Notice that some of the passages mentions flames.
This refers to the 6 candles on the altar. Use your LIGHTER to
light candles 1, 4, and 6 on the altar. The altar slides along the floor,
revealing a secret entrance. Climb down the secret entrance stairs, into
the crypt.
Follow the trail of blood left, until you see the priest. The
priest begs you not to harm his son Gilbert. Notice that his hand is
injured! Talk to the priest and work through all the dialogue.
Well, he’s not going to let you into Gilbert’s room, no matter what you say.
Maybe you should be a bit more forceful. Hit the priest with
your BIBLE to knock him out, then take his CRUCIFIX from
the floor. Now enter Gilbert’s room.
Don’t get too close to Gilbert. Throw your GLUE at
Gilbert. He swallows it whole, making his jaw stick together, so he can’t
bite you. Take the DOLL from the floor next to
Gilbert. Now leave Gilbert’s room, and make your way back to the corridor
in the spaceship.

CORRIDOR
Look at the brown door to the left of the door you just came through,
and note the cross-shaped lock. Insert your CRUCIFIX into
the lock. Now enter through the door, into the Space Dimension.

Take ROCK from the ground. Look at the lamp post,
and look at the YIN (half of a Yin-Yang). You need
that YIN to help you get home… if only you could reach
it. Open Door 113B (door on the right), and take the NOTE that’s
stuck to the inside of the open door. In your Inventory, examine
the NOTE, and you acquire some BLUTAK. There’s
nothing else you can do here at the moment, so go through Door 113A (door on
the left) to return to the Corridor.

Walk right a few steps, until you see the door with the
Doll-shaped. Insert your DOLL into the lock. Now
enter through the door, into the American Dimension.

Hmm, as soon as you arrive, a NEWSPAPER blows into your
face, informing you that Britain is part of America. Walk up to the Fish
& Fries shop on the left.
FRIES & FISH SHOP
In front of the
Fish & Fries shop, talk to the 3 men, and work through all the
dialogue. The claim to be Evil Geniuses who plan to destroy all of
humanity. That doesn’t sound good! When conversation is over, look
at the shop door to see that it’s all boarded up. Now walk down, away
from the shop.
FIELD
Walk up to The
Limey Pub.
Watch the cut scene
with the aliens.
THE LIMEY PUB
Explore the Limey Pub. Talk to the Barman and work through all the
dialogue. Take SPONGE from the bar counter. Try to
take KEY from behind the bar counter, but the Barman refuses
to let you have it. Talk to the 3 louts on the right and work through all
the dialogue. Make sure you use the following dialogue option.
- COME ON ENGLAND
They all drink their beer at the same time, and the Barman comes to
refill their glasses. While the Barman is busy, quickly sneak behind the
bar counter, and take the KEY. Now enter through door on the
right.
THE LIMEY PUB - HALL
You’re in a hall with 3 doors. Use KEY with the
Staff Only door on the left to unlock it. Now open the Staff Only door,
then enter through the door, into the Basement.
BASEMENT
Look at both
barrels - one contains English beer, and the other contains American
lager. Switch the pipes on the barrels, so the American barrel is
connected to the English tap up in the bar, and the English barrel is connected
to the American tap up in the bar. Now leave the Basement.
THE LIMEY PUB - HALL
Enter the Men’s
Bathroom.
MEN’S BATHROOM
Explore the bathroom. Use the condom machine to get a SUPPLY
OF 10P PIECES. Try to take some LOO CAKES, but you refuse
to do so with your bare hands. Use NEWSPAPER to pick up
the LOO CAKES. Now leave the bathroom.
THE LIMEY PUB - HALL
Enter the Women’s
Bathroom if you like, but you automatically leave after a short time.
When you’re ready, enter through door on the right, back to the pub area.
THE LIMEY PUB
Talk to the 3 louts
on the right, using the following dialogue option.
- COME ON ENGLAND
As before, they all drink their beer at the same time. Since you
switched the pipes down below, they are now drink the strong English beer, not
the weak American beer, so they all pass out drunk. The Barman quits, and
leaves the pub. Take TOP HAT from the bar counter, then
leave the bar using door on the left.

Climb down the
manhole, back to the Alien Spaceship.

Walk left a few steps, to the door with the Top-Hat shaped lock.
Insert your TOP HAT into the lock. Now enter through the
door, into the Lift.

TOP HAT DOOR \ DINOSAUR DIMENSION

LIFT
Look at the Control Panel on the left, and try to use the Control
Panel. It appears to be broken. If you could access the controls,
you might be able to repair it. Use ROCK on the Control
Panel to smash it open. Use the broken wires to fiddle with them, and
thus fix them. Close the Control Panel again, then use the newly-repaired
Control Panel to travel up to the top floor. When you reach the top
floor, you automatically head out into the Office.
GAME DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
As soon as you enter the office, you realise 2 things - this is a game
development office, and dinosaurs are the primary species in this
dimension. Explore the office. Talk to all the dinosaurs and work
through all the dialogue with them. When conversation is over, take THERMOS
FLASK from the empty desk. Look at the cardboard box at the
empty desk, and use SCISSORS to open the cardboard box.
Take GAME CONSOLES from the cardboard box. Walk right to
the red Chuckie Egg arcade machine. Use your SUPPLY OF 10P
PIECES with the red Chuckie Egg arcade machine, then use the Chuckie
Egg arcade machine to start playing. Hmm, you quickly lose.
Use SUPPLY OF 10P PIECES to insert more money into the arcade
machine, and this time, use Dan’s Icon (right-click to cycle through the icons)
with the Chuckie Egg arcade machine. Dan easily beats the game, and gets
a new High Score. Carl the dinosaur is not happy about losing his
top-spot, and tries to win his High Score place again. Watch the cut
scene with the aliens. While Carl is distracted, walk left to Carl’s
desk, and play with the Death Star toy on his desk. The Death Star shoots
and kills one of the other dinosaur workers. Take the X-WING
TOY from his desk. Now head left, use the lift, and make your
way back to the alien spaceship.

CORRIDOR
A new door has
appeared, next to the lift door. Enter through the Secret Door, into a
Surveillance Room.
SURVEILLANCE ROOM
Take CROWBAR on the left. Explore the room, and
look at all the various screens and pictures, to see some interesting
things. There’s nothing else you can do here, so simply leave the room,
and return to the Corridor.
CORRIDOR
Walk right a few
steps, to the door with the doll-shaped lock. Enter through the door,
into the American Dimension again.

Walk up to the Fish

FISH & FRIES SHOP
The 3 men are still here. Give them the GAMES
CONSOLES - they immediately start playing the consoles, and throw away
their drinks. Pick up the bottle of MOONSHINE.
Use CROWBAR with the PLANK OF WOOD on the
shop door. Now walk down, away from the Fish & Fries Shop.

Climb down the
manhole and return to the Alien Spaceship.

There’s a river of lava flowing through the street, separating you from
anything of interest. Use your THERMOS with the lava to
get THERMOS FULL OF LAVA. Place PLANK OF WOOD over
the lava, then cross over it, like a bridge. Take SPANNER from
the dead man. Now go back through door on the left, and return to the
Alien Spaceship.

Walk left to the door with the Spanner-shaped lock. Insert SPANNER into
the lock, then enter through the door, into the Ice Dimension.

This dimension is the complete opposite of the last dimension!
Look at the man frozen in the block of use, and use THERMOS FULL OF
LAVA on the block of ice, to defrost him. However, he’s still
freezing cold, and his teeth are chattering. Talk to him and work through
all the dialogue. He won’t do anything until he’s warmed up. Give
him the MOONSHINE to warm him up. Now talk to him again
and work through all the dialogue. Look at the turnstile, and look at the
purple panel in the turnstile. Use CROWBAR in the purple
panel to force it open. Talk to the man again, using the following
dialogue option.
- That panel’s off now, look…
He finally gets to work, repairing the turnstile. Pick up
the COG. Watch the cut scene with the aliens. Take the
frozen ROPE that’s hanging up on the right, next to the
Underground Sign. Now make your way back to the Alien Spaceship.

After a long
conversation with the man, enter the Museum.
MUSEUM
Explore the Museum. Talk to Bob The Blob and work through all the
dialogue. When conversation is over, use SPONGE with Bob
to soak up all his water. Poor Bob turns into a giant sponge! Take
the MUSEUM TICKET that falls to the floor. Talk to Mia,
the Tour Guide, on the right, and work through all the dialogue. When
conversation is over, give MUSEUM TICKET to Mia, then walk
right into the Exhibit.
Explore the Exhibit. Watch the cut scene with the aliens.
Talk to all 3 Superheroes and work through all the dialogue with them.
Look at both pictures on the back wall, and take CAN OPENER from
picture on the right. Look at the 3 displays at the lower right, and swap
your ROCK with the CLUMP OF MUD. Now walk
right into the Yang Room.
Explore the Yang
Room. Talk to the 3 Superheroes and work through all the dialogue with
them. Forcefield Man is protecting the Yang with his force field.
You need to find a way to distract him, so that you can get the Yang. Now
make your way out of the museum, and return to the Alien Spaceship.

Walk left to the
door with the Crucifix-shaped lock, and enter through the door, into the Space
Dimension.

Use CAN OPENER with the lamp post, to knock it over,
creating a bridge to the floating planet. Look at the YIN on
the floating planet - it’s too far down for you to reach. In your
Inventory, combine DEAD MAN’S HAND with the BLUTAK to
get STICKY DEAD MAN’S HAND, then tie STICKY DEAD MAN’S
HAND to your PIECE OF STRING. Now use this to get
the YIN from the floating planet. Make your way back to
the Alien Spaceship.

Walk right to the
cow-door with the Cog-shaped lock. Enter through the door, into the
Superhero Dimension.

Enter the
Museum.
MUSEUM
Head right, and
continue right, until you reach the Yang Room.
In the Yang Room, notice that Forcefield Man is still protecting
the YANG with his forcefield. Throw CLUMP OF
MUD at the security camera above the door on the left, so it can’t see
what you’re doing. Swap your LOO CAKES with the SUGARCUBES next
to Forcefield Man to make him collapse. Take YANG from
the display. In your Inventory, combine the YIN and
the YANG to get a YIN-YANG. Now leave the
Museum, and make your way back to the Alien Spaceship.

Walk left to the door with the Yin Yang shaped lock. Insert YIN
