TRAPPED
Your adventure begins with you trapped in a cell. You need
to find a way out of here. Pick up A JUG OF COLD WATER. Pick up A PILE OF LEAVES.
Pick up A BOOK OF
MATCHES. Place A PILE OF LEAVES next to the door on
the left. Use A
BOOK OF MATCHES to set fire to the leaves, thus burning
the door down. Throw A
JUG OF COLD WATER over the flames to put the fire
out. Walk left to A Few Trees.
A FEW TREES
Pick up CHERRIES.
Talk to the Bugler to learn that Rockwart the Troll has taken over the
castle. If only there was some way to warn the king! Ignore the
magic carpet, since you won’t need it. Walk left to Rear Entrance.
REAR ENTRANCE
Pick up A
HEAVY PICKAXE, then walk right back to A Few Trees.
A FEW TREES
Jump
up onto the platform, then jump right onto the rocks, and right into
Trapped.
TRAPPED
You’re standing above the dungeon. Pick up CHERRIES, then go right
to Top Of The Hill.
TOP OF THE HILL
Pick up A
SMALL CAGE. Pick up CHERRIES that were hidden behind the
cage. Talk to lion to discover that he has a thorn stuck in his paw, and
it is hurting him. You need to find a way to help the poor lion. Go
right to Hello World.
HELLO WORLD
Drop
down to Hillside.
HILLSIDE
That rock on the left looks very suspicious. Use A HEAVY PICKAXE on
the rock to reveal an entrance into the cave. Pick up CHERRIES, then walk left
into A Secret Cave.
A SECRET CAVE
SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. Work your way over to the
top left, then jump up into Top Of The Hill.
TOP OF THE HILL
Pick up A
GOLD NUGGET. Pick up CHERRIES. Drop back down into A
Secret Cave.
A SECRET CAVE
Go
right to Hillside.
HILLSIDE
Walk
right to the Bank Of The River Styx.
BANK OF THE RIVER STYX
SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. Cross the ferry to the
other side.
THE FERRYMAN
The
Ferryman will take your gold nugget as payment for crossing the river.
Talk to Ferryman again to discover that he wishes his boat could go
faster. Walk right to The Enchanted Forest.
THE ENCHANTED FOREST
Look at Pogie the Fluffle. Try to use A SMALL CAGE on
Pogie, but he is not interested. You need to find something to tempt him
into the cage. Head left, and continue left, until you reach Hello
World.
HELLO WORLD
Notice the ACME
DIY in the clouds - that could be very useful. Jump
onto the clouds, and pick up AN
ACME BRIDGE KIT. Now let yourself sink down through the
cloud, and down into Hillside.
HILLSIDE
Head
right, and continue right until you reach The Enchanted Forest.
THE ENCHANTED FOREST
Jump up onto the platform. Pick up A WOODEN RAILING.
Pick up CHERRIES.
Drop A WOODEN RAILING.
Now jump up to Enchanted Treetops above.
ENCHANTED TREETOPS
Jump onto small platform near the right. Now there is a
loooong jump to the next platform. If only you had a bridge - oh wait,
you do! Use AN
ACME BRDIGE KIT on the gap to create a bridge.
Ignore the fluffleade since you won’t need it. Now stand on the left edge
of the middle platform (the one with the fluffleade), and jump right onto the
top stairs. It’s tricky, but it’s do-able. Pick up A WOODEN RAILING.
Pick up CHERRIES.
Drop A WOODEN RAILING.
Now jump up to Uppermost Branches above.
UPPERMOST BRANCHES
SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. Stand on the right edge
of the middle platform. Jump right onto the clouds, and right again, so
you land in the Tower Drawbridge.
TOWER DRAWBRIDGE
Pick up A
GOLDEN HARP. You can’t get past those thorns yet, so
don’t go near them. SAVE
YOUR GAME HERE, then jump left over the wall to A Perilous
Jump.
A PERILOUS JUMP
Jump
over the moat, then walk left to The Enchanted Forest.
THE ENCHANTED FOREST
Jump
up 2 screens to The Uppermost Branches.
THE UPPERMOST BRANCHES
Walk
left to Awfully High Clouds.
AWFULLY HIGH CLOUDS
SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. Now jump left over the
clouds, and left into Heaven.
HEAVEN
Talk to St Peter to learn that he has lost something, but he
will not tell you what. Give A
GOLDEN HARP to St Peter, and then pick up SOME HOLY CHEESE that
he drops. SAVE
YOUR GAME HERE, then jump right, back to Awfully High
Clouds.
AWFULLY HIGH CLOUDS
From
the cloud on the left, step (not jump) left off the cloud, so you land Fluffy
Cloud.
FLUFFY CLOUD
Pick up CHERRIES. SAVE YOUR GAME HERE,
then jump right off the cloud, so you land next to The Ferryman.
THE FERRYMAN
Go
right to The Enchanted Forest.
THE ENCHANTED FOREST
Place SOME
HOLY CHEESE into the Fluffle cage. Pogie darts into
the cage to get the cheese, so pick up A CAGED FLUFFLE. Pick up CHERRIES that were
hidden behind Pogie. Head left, and continue left, until you reach Rear
Entrance of the castle.
REAR ENTRANCE
Drop A
CAGED FLUFFLE near Rockwart the Troll. The cage is
smashed, and Pogie gets angry. He scares away Rockwart (hee hee).
Go left to Stairs And Landing.
STAIRS AND LANDING
Jump
onto the upper right platform, then go right to Rear Entrance.
REAR ENTRANCE
You’re in the top left section, overlooking the castle
entrance. Pick up AN
OUTBOARD MOTOR. Walk left, back to Stairs And
Landing.
STAIRS AND LANDING
Head
right, and continue right, until you reach The Ferryman.
THE FERRYMAN
Give AN
OUTBOARD MOTOR to The Ferryman. Pick up A SCYTHE. Now what
could you possibly use a scythe for? Walk right to The Enchanted
Forest.
THE ENCHANTED FOREST
Jump
up 2 screens to The Uppermost Branches.
THE UPPERMOST BRANCHES
SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. As before, stand on the
right edge of the middle platform. Jump right onto the clouds, and right
again, so you land in the Tower Drawbridge.
TOWER DRAWBRIDGE
Jump down to the base of the bushes, and then use A SCYTHE on the
bushes to cut them down. Pick up CHERRIES that were hidden in the
bushes, then walk right to Tower Ballroom.
TOWER BALLROOM
Pick up A
BRASS BUGLE. Now jump onto the upper platform, and go
left to Tower Drawbridge.
TOWER DRAWBRIDGE
Ignore
that potion since you won‘t need it. Jump up to Edge Of The Tower.
EDGE OF THE TOWER
Pick up CHERRIES.
Walk right 2 screens to Double Trouble.
DOUBLE TROUBLE
Oh
dear, what's going on here? There’s… 2 of you? Well, one of you is
an evil doppleganger. Watch out for that red trapdoor - if your
doppleganger triggers the switch at the top, you’ll fall to your death!
Jump over the gap in the trapdoor, then walk right to Inner Sanctum.
INNER SANCTUM
Pick up A
STRANGE MECHANISM. Pick up CHERRIES.
Drop A STRANGE
MECHANISM. Jump onto the upper left platform, then walk
left to Double Trouble.
DOUBLE TROUBLE
Now
you’re on the top, and Evil Dizzy is at the bottom. Walk left to First
Landing.
FIRST LANDING
Pick up A
ROOF TILE. Pick up CHERRIES. Drop A ROOF TILE. Go
left to Edge Of The Tower.
EDGE OF THE TOWER
Pick up SOME
TWEEZERS. Now remember the lion had a thorn in his
paw. Maybe you can help him now. SAVE YOUR GAME HERE,
then jump left, so you land in A Perilous Jump.
A PERILOUS JUMP
Head
left, and continue left, until you reach Top Of The Hill.
TOP OF THE HILL
Use SOME
TWEEZERS on the lion to remove the thorn from his
paw. Now pick up A
SHARP THORN. Walk left 2 screens to A Few Trees.
A FEW TREES
Give A
BRASS BUGLE to the Bugler. Pick up A JOLLY JOKEBOOK.
Now let’s go and take care of Evil Dizzy! Head right, and continue right,
until you reach The Enchanted Forest.
THE ENCHANTED FOREST
Jump
up 2 screens to Uppermost Branches.
UPPERMOST BRANCHES
SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. Jump right over the
clouds, so you land in Tower Drawbridge.
TOWER DRAWBRIDGE
Follow
the path round, until you reach Double Trouble.
DOUBLE TROUBLE
SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. Notice that Evil Dizzy
imitates your moves. You can use that to your advantage. Drop A SHARP THORN anywhere
on the blue floor (avoid the red trapdoor), and then walk right Inner
Sanctum.
INNER SANCTUM
Jump
up to the upper level, then walk left to Double Trouble again.
DOUBLE TROUBLE
Walk left a little bit, until your duplicate walks over the
thorn. Hurray! Evil Dizzy is destroyed. Work your way back
down to the lower level, and pick up A GREASY SPANNER. Pick up CHERRIES that were
hidden behind the spanner. Walk left 2 screens to Edge Of The
Tower.
EDGE OF THE TOWER
Drop
down to Tower Drawbridge.
TOWER DRAWBRIDGE
Go
right to Tower Ballroom.
TOWER BALLROOM
Drop
down to the lower level, then go left, back to Tower Drawbridge.
TOWER DRAWBRIDGE
Head
left, and continue left through many screens, until you reach Stairs And
Landing.
STAIRS AND LANDING
Jump
onto the upper left platform, and go left 2 screens to Castle Drawbridge.
CASTLE DRAWBRIDGE
Use A
GREASY SPANNER on the mechanism to lower the
drawbridge. Walk right 2 screens to Stairs And Landing.
STAIRS AND LANDING
Drop
to the lower level. Now walk left, and continue left, until you reach
Castle Drawbridge.
CASTLE DRAWBRIDGE
Pick up A
CLUMP OF GRASS on the left. Pick up CHERRIES.
Drop A CLUMP OF GRASS.
Walk left to The Castle Gardens.
THE CASTLE GARDENS
The Princess is here, but she’s very upset. Talk to
Princess to learn that she is sad because she wants her father to return.
Give her A JOLLY
JOKEBOOK to cheer her up. Pick up A REGAL FLAG that
she drops. Pick up A
CLUMP OF GRASS next to the tree. Pick up CHERRIES.
Drop A CLUMP OF GRASS.
Pick up A STONE
BLOCK next to the Princess. Pick up CHERRIES.
Drop A STONE BLOCK.
Head right, and continue right, until you reach Stairs And Landing.
STAIRS AND LANDING
Jump
up onto the stairs, then go left to Inside The Castle.
INSIDE THE CASTLE
Climb
up to Castle Ramparts.
CASTLE RAMPARTS
Make your way over to the flagpole, and tie A REGAL FLAG onto
the flagpole. The flag is raised, and Bugler appears. Talk to
Bugler, so he can play a fanfare to call the king home. Walk over to the
king, and tell him what has been going on. The king is grateful for your
help, and announces you Sir Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk. Wow! You
are a royal knight - how exciting! Now you are a knight, you can go and
rescue Daisy. Jump right to the next screen.
Pick up 2 CHERRIES (upper
& lower sections). Pick up A RUSTY OLD KEY from the stairs.
Now follow the path back to Inside The Castle.
INSIDE THE CASTLE
Head
right, and continue right, until you reach The Enchanted Forest.
THE ENCHANTED FOREST
Jump
up 2 screens to Uppermost Branches.
UPPERMOST BRANCHES
SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. Jump right, over the
clouds, so you land in Tower Drawbridge.
TOWER DRAWBRIDGE
Follow
the path round, until you reach Inner Sanctum.
INNER SANCTUM
Work
your way to the upper right platform, then jump up to The Deserted Tower.
THE DESERTED TOWER
Pick up CHERRIES.
You see Daisy sleeping soundly in the bedroom, but the door is locked.
Unlock the door with A
RUSTY OLD KEY, and then go and give Daisy a kiss to wake her
up. If the King hadn’t knighted you, you wouldn’t be a Prince, so your
kiss wouldn’t have any effect. Talk to Daisy, and she tells you that she
has lost all the cherries for Grand-Dizzy's cake. If you’ve been
following this Walkthrough, you should already have 20 CHERRIES.
Now
sit back and enjoy the ending.
